During the last week I have had the pleasure of producing Adelaide band Auxilla. These guys have nearly finished tracking their 6 song EP, and it’s release is shaping up to be something to seriously watch out for in the coming months. Auxilla have some very unique ‘high energy post-rock / dance-rock / progressive rock / indie songs’ that will turn industry heavy weight heads I’m sure. - Their Bass and drums have a very Radiohead vibe, with their 3 guitarists really defining the ambient yet hard hitting dueling / dancing guitar vibe.
This aside, I must say that am very excited to be working with their vocalist Lukas. Lukas brings a very appropriately quirky yet smooth vocal style to the table.

I like to think of this band as a high energy version of ‘The Doves’, crossed with Radiohead’s organic eeriness. There is also some very strong influences from Moving Mountains in there.

Keep an eye out for this one, it may just catch you by surprise.
